Tragic Incident in Syunik: 61-Year-Old Driver Dies After Falling 200 Meters with Tractor

A tragic incident occurred today, July 23, in the Syunik province. Around 6 PM, 61-year-old Lorik N., a resident of Syunik, lost control of his unregistered MTZ-80 tractor, which was attached to a grass mower, while performing agricultural work in the "Gyolyaz" hayfield located in the administrative territory of the Torunik community. Preliminary information suggests he rolled approximately 200 meters down a slope.

According to Shamshyan.com, as a result of the accident, Lorik N. died at the scene.

A rescue unit from the firefighting and rescue squad of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Armenia's Syunik regional rescue service arrived at the site. The firefighters found the body outdoors and, with great difficulty, transported it to the morgue of the "Sisian" medical center.
