Ukrainian Losses Have Become Significant During Counteroffensive, Sullivan Says

The number of Ukrainian servicemen wounded and killed during the Ukrainian armed forces' counteroffensive has become significant. This statement was made on Friday by Jake Sullivan, the U.S. National Security Advisor.

The official noted that the Ukrainian army's counteroffensive is "difficult," but he emphasized that it was always said to be challenging.

At the same time, Sullivan highlighted that the Ukrainian armed forces have not yet deployed all available capabilities in battle and are waiting for the right moment, with the U.S. offering advice to Ukraine on this matter.

Earlier, Russian President Vladimir Putin stated that there are no results from the Ukrainian so-called counteroffensive. He emphasized that neither the vast resources being pushed to the Kyiv regime by Western countries, nor the supply of weapons, nor the thousands of foreign mercenaries and advisors being utilized by the Kyiv authorities to attempt to break through the front, are aiding the Kyiv regime.

Meanwhile, CIA Director William Burns has justified the slow pace of the Ukrainian counteroffensive. He reminded that counteroffensive operations are complex undertakings, hence it should not surprise anyone that the pace in Ukraine is not very rapid. Burns stressed that progress will not be easy.
