Photographs: Attempt to Import Around 4 Tons of Swedish Snus from Armenia to Russia via Lars Checkpoint

An attempt was made to import around 4 tons of Swedish snus worth 100 million rubles from Armenia to Russia through the Upper Lars checkpoint. This was reported by the Mash Telegram channel.

Employees of the Federal Customs Service noticed a suspicious truck. According to the documents, it was carrying 22 tons of roasted coffee. However, upon inspection, boxes of snus were found hidden behind bags of fragrant Arabica. All boxes have since been confiscated and sent for examination. A criminal case has been initiated under the article of smuggling tobacco products.
