Photographs: A Dog Bites 8-Year-Old Boy in Spitak, Doctors Fight for His Life

Today, July 20, in the Lori region, a dog on a chain attacked a child. This has been reported by the Spitak Medical Center.

At around 12:20 PM, in one of the districts of Spitak, the dog attacked the 8-year-old boy, causing numerous bodily injuries. In particular, injuries to the face, head, and neck, accompanied by severe hemorrhaging and hemorrhagic shock.

The child was admitted to the hospital with lacerations and is in extremely serious condition. He was immediately transferred to surgery. The entire medical team, from the head nurse to the surgical team, continues to fight for the child's life. The surgery lasted more than 1.5 hours and has been completed. The child's condition is assessed as serious, and he continues to receive necessary medical assistance.

The Medical Center reports that the surgery of the beloved child injured in the dog attack has been successfully completed.
