31-Year-Old Stabs Four Fellow Citizens, One Dies

A 31-year-old man has stabbed four fellow citizens, resulting in the death of one of them. The incident occurred on July 17 in the town of Byureghavan, Kotayk Province, specifically on Zoravar Andranik Street.

At 03:09, the operational management center of the Police of the Republic of Armenia received a report from a hospital stating that a 22-year-old resident of Byureghavan was admitted with a "cut and lacerated wound to the left posterior auricular area and right forearm." At 04:45, another call reported that a 20-year-old named Karen Miroyan was brought to the hospital with a "cut wound to the neck with damage to major vessels"; he was also a resident of Byureghavan.

At 05:06, reports came in from Abovyan Medical Center indicating that two other young men, aged 20 and 32, also from Byureghavan, were treated for cut wounds.

Through coordinated efforts by the Kotayk Regional Directorate of the Police, the Kotayk Investigative Department, and the second squad of the Kotayk Regional Patrol Service, it was revealed that around 01:00 on July 17, a group of young men had engaged in a dispute over domestic issues on Zoravar Andranik Street, during which the 31-year-old man stabbed four individuals, leading to one fatality.

The attacker was found near one of the buildings on Zoravar Andranik Street, arrested, and taken into police custody. The 31-year-old and the case documents were submitted to the Abovyan Investigative Division.
