Many in Armenia Do Not Want to Hear About the Situation in Artsakh: Edik Baghdasaryan
Many in European countries know little about Artsakh; they do not know that free people live there, and that the residents only differ from others in that they want to live freely as well. This was stated by Edik Baghdasaryan, the editor-in-chief of "Hetq," on his Facebook page.
“In Armenia, many people cannot imagine what the situation is like in Artsakh; most cannot envision that children are half-starved, that there is a home where they only eat bread. And do you know what is terrifying? That many do not even want to hear about it, do not even want to imagine such a situation. In European countries, very little is known about Artsakh; they do not know that free people live there, and the residents only differ from others by wanting to live freely,” he wrote.
“Yes, in Artsakh, people can freely criticize their officials and express their opinions. And Europe knows very well that Aliyev is one of the most corrupt leaders in the world. The Aliyev clan is looting the country; the money from natural resources mainly flows into the accounts of the Aliyevs and the Pashayeva clan, turning into real estate and assets in various parts of the world. Those who criticize Aliyev are killed or find themselves in prison. And now Europe, without any guarantees, says: you, people of Artsakh, should submit to Aliyev, become his slave, go discuss with him and decide what kind of slave you will be. Europe is ready to send 120,000 people into slavery, death, or exile in exchange for its gas. Here are the three paths being offered by Europe in exchange for Azerbaijani gas. Nikol Pashinyan, that is, Armenia, has joined Europe’s demand. Russia also continues to sell its gas to Europe through Azerbaijan. Russia, which was supposed to ensure the uninterrupted functioning of the corridor connecting with Armenia with its peacekeepers, is bringing food by helicopter only for its soldiers while children just a few hundred meters away are starving. Such is the world of the 21st century. And Artsakh is all alone,” he stated.
