VIDEO: 'They are doing nothing, our children are lost because of them,' says mother of the missing soldier

No one accepted us, no one answered our questions, we saw nothing but indifference and insults. We have submitted an application, we are waiting for when they will respond. I personally wrote the application for Nikol Pashinyan to meet us so we can speak directly and have questions and answers. This was stated by the mother of a missing soldier, Ms. Gayane, during a rally near the presidential office.

"You will give our children as a sacrifice, no matter how soft a pillow you put under our heads, no matter how much you try to hush the issue, in the end, you will have to answer for our children; the issue will be resolved, and we won't let you live peacefully," she emphasized.

When asked what they discussed with the director of the National Security Service, Ms. Gayane said they spoke with his deputy: "They say they are working on it, but where is that work? When have you worked that we have not seen? They are doing nothing; they are postponing the trial for months, and they will postpone it so much that they won't conduct the trial at all," she said, noting that these actions aim to exhaust the parents.

“It is unacceptable to show such contempt for a parent's grief. Our children went for their sake; they are lost because of them,” said Ms. Gayane.
