Surin Papikyan Visits the Frontline

On July 19, Minister of Defense Surin Papikyan visited the frontline.

At several combat outposts, the minister observed the ongoing combat duty, as well as the construction, outfitting, engineering, and fortification work at the positions. He discussed various issues related to the activities being carried out at the frontline with the leaders of the corresponding units.

The head of the defense department was briefed on the progress of the works planned for the year and the upcoming tasks.

The officials presented a comprehensive program for construction and engineering works, fortifications, and the construction and renovation of roads leading to the frontline, which is being implemented within the established deadlines and specified volumes.

During the tour, Minister Papikyan spoke with the servicemen on combat duty, wishing them a vigilant and safe service while carrying out their responsible mission.
