Spirian's Move to Manchester City and Real Madrid is Realistic: Yura Movsisyan
The former striker of the Armenian national football team, Yura Movsisyan, has assessed Eduard Spirian's chances of moving to a European league.
"I don’t think Spirian will feel psychologically defeated if he doesn’t move to a European league this summer. This will help him. Firstly, it must be acknowledged that Krasnodar has become a higher quality club, and this is not the Krasnodar where I played. Now this club meets European standards, and Spirian has time to improve. Edik is at an age where he has that time. He will gain confidence, and then he can move to Europe.
Let’s not rush. He knows very well what to do. He should not leave just for the sake of saying he moved to Europe and then sits on the bench. He needs to get stable playing time.
The moves to Manchester City and Real Madrid are also realistic, why not? Those clubs know where Krasnodar stands. If he moves to a second-tier club that plays in the Europa League and sits on the bench, then what’s the point of moving? Spirian is now a leader in both his club and the Armenian national team. In the next season, he will play more confidently and will be able to move to a European league," Movsisyan's words were quoted by Metaratings.ru.
