VIDEO: Russia Strikes Odesa as Part of 'Retribution' Operation
The Russian armed forces have attacked objects in the Odesa region as part of the 'Retribution' operation, reports the press service of the Russian Ministry of Defense.
“Last night, the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation carried out a targeted group strike on those facilities where terrorist actions were being prepared against the Russian Federation using motor boats, as well as an assault occurred on a shipbuilding factory near Odesa that produced them,” stated the Russian Ministry of Defense.
According to kommersant.ru, the day before, Russian President Vladimir Putin had promised a 'response' to the attack on the Crimean Bridge. He mentioned that relevant proposals are being prepared by the Ministry of Defense. At the same time, presidential spokesman Dmitry Peskov simply stated that the proposal to respond to the drone attack on the Crimean Bridge is still under development.
On the night of July 17, two drones attacked the Crimean Bridge, resulting in part of the bridge collapsing and two people being killed.
