“Currently, the fuel shortage is more significant for the sector than that of medicines,” says Artsakh Minister of Health
Besides the issue of medicines, the fuel shortage poses significant obstacles, as our regional healthcare centers are unable to respond when immediate assistance is needed. This was stated today, July 18, in an interview with Artsakh Public Television by the Minister of Health of the Republic of Artsakh, Vardan Tadevosyan.
“Currently, the fuel shortage is more pronounced for the sector than that of medicines. I extend my gratitude to the Red Cross for transporting patients and medicines, however, this has again been prohibited in recent days. Every day we plan differently, our schedule changes daily, organizing something different from the previous day,” he said.
The minister noted that healthcare professionals in Artsakh are in regular contact with their counterparts in Armenia and the diaspora, conducting consultations with them. “If there is no specialist in the regions, we promptly organize their visit from the capital to those areas,” Tadevosyan stated.
