Attempted Attack in Eastern Crimea Involving 28 Drones

In the eastern direction of Crimea, an attempted attack involving 28 unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) has been reported. This was announced by the head of Crimea, Sergey Aksyonov.

He noted that air defense and electronic warfare systems repelled the attack on the drones in eastern Crimea. According to him, nine UAVs were shot down by the air defense system, while 19 were suppressed through electronic warfare systems.

Aksyonov wrote on Telegram that no one was injured. There is no information regarding damages or casualties. The regional leader did not specify which objects the drones attempted to attack. In the eastern part of the peninsula lies the Crimean Bridge, which was partially destroyed the day before, on July 17, by surface drones.
