VIDEO. Yerevan Statues Cleaned Ahead of Vardavar Celebration

The launch of Vardavar citywide events in the capital took place early in the morning with a parade of fire trucks and rescue service vehicles. This was reported by the Yerevan Municipality, accompanied by a video presentation.

"The Yerevan statues have also been washed and cleaned. The work was carried out with specialized equipment from the Yerevan Municipality and the RA Ministry of Emergency Situations. Volunteers also joined in the celebration and the cleanliness of the city. The tradition of splashing water on each other brought together visitors to the city's recreational areas as well," the report stated.
