VIDEO. How Vardavar is Celebrated in Yerevan

One of the five major feasts of the Armenian Apostolic Church, the Transfiguration of Jesus Christ, commonly known as Vardavar, is celebrated with great pomp in Yerevan. The festivities in the capital's Republic Square are made even more exciting with the participation of the special police force's "Daranet" vehicles.
