Colosseum Vandalized for the Third Time in a Month; Suspect Arrested

In Rome, a 17-year-old tourist from Germany has been arrested for carving his initials into the wall of the Colosseum. This was reported by Iz.ru, citing RAI News 24.

It has been noted that this is the third incident of such vandalism within the last month. On July 14, a young tourist from Switzerland was detained in the vicinity of the architectural monument after one of the tour guides discovered that he had scratched his initials into the structure. The offender attempted to flee the scene but was apprehended and handed over to security guards, as explained by il Messaggero.

It is also recalled that about two weeks ago, a British tourist made headlines for writing his and his girlfriend's names on an ancient wall.
