The footballer’s record earnings amounted to $136 million. According to Forbes magazine, Ronaldo earned $46 million on the football field, while the remaining $90 million came from off-field activities.

Second place on the list is occupied by Ronaldo's eternal rival, Argentine Lionel Messi, whose annual income reached $130 million. The third richest athlete is French footballer Kylian Mbappé, with earnings of $120 million.
