VIDEO. What Are You Waiting For? Do You Want to See Bodies in This Square? Gurgen Nersisyan
This morning, starting at 9:00 AM, a popular rally began at the Renaissance Square in Stepanakert, aiming to draw the world's attention to the situation in Artsakh.
Artsakh's State Minister Gurgen Nersisyan delivered a speech addressing Russia, Armenia, and the international community. He said, 'What are you waiting for? Do you want to see bodies in this square before you respond? Do you wish for a repeat of the incident involving two young children just days ago for you to realize? I speak on behalf of all of you when I say enough is enough. For the third year now, the people of Artsakh have patiently endured various forms of suffering. Every day, our mothers and sisters, hiding their tears, look into their children's eyes and, under the weight of responsibility, make choices, repeatedly choosing their homeland—our Artsakh.'
According to Nersisyan, negotiations have been ongoing for three years, but the results are not felt, except for the hammer of disagreements falling upon Artsakh. He emphasized, 'Enough is enough—stop turning the people of Artsakh into collateral for your relationship building and conflict resolution. Enough of conducting large-scale political maneuvers at the expense of our people's lives—U.S.-Russia confrontations must stop,' Nersisyan noted, adding that they have reached a tipping point.
