Will the National Anthem and Emblem Change? - 'Pats'

'Pats' newspaper writes: According to our information, the 'hit-and-run' incident regarding Armenia's national emblem and anthem by Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan is not without intent, and the authorities plan to bring the issue of changing them to the agenda in the near future.

Moreover, according to a source from 'Pats', several discussions have already taken place on this matter involving the head of the Prime Minister's office, Arayik Harutyunyan, and the Minister of Education, Science, Culture, and Sports, Zhanna Andreasyan.

It has become known that composers, writers, architects, and artists attended the recent meetings, and several variations of the emblem are already available. A specialized commission is expected to be established soon to address the issue of changing the emblem and anthem, which will study and present the selected successful variants to the public.

At this stage, the authorities intend to keep the topic under wraps but will simultaneously start gradually throwing out various ideas related to this topic during suitable occasions in order to gauge public mood and reactions.
