If Someone Was Washing Something, It Certainly Was Not Vladimir Gasparyan or Money: Defense Team

The allegations and "revelations" from the Anti-Corruption Committee have no relation to reality, stated the defense team of Vladimir Gasparyan.

"Today, the Anti-Corruption Committee released a tearful report discussing another set of 'revelations.' It is unnecessary to note that the charges bear no relation to reality. If someone was washing something, it certainly was not Vladimir Gasparyan or money, but rather the Anti-Corruption Committee and the public's mind. Over the past five years, it has been impossible to substantiate any legal violations committed by V. Gasparyan; on the contrary, we can observe judgments and decisions showing that V. Gasparyan and his family have served and earned with crystal clarity. The Anti-Corruption Committee's statement is at least far from reality and has addressed the question of today’s media headlines. The authors of the material have quickly forgotten the speed with which the heads of the Anti-Corruption Committee fled when they saw V. Gasparyan in the Committee's building. We call for refraining from making unsubstantiated publications and to attempt to relate those accusatory acts, which will not exist, through procedural processes," the statement reads.
