Hospital Doctors Initiate 5-Day Strike in England
Doctors in England's hospitals have commenced a five-day strike today, marking the largest in the history of the National Health Service (NHS), raising concerns about patient safety.
“The NHS operates out of goodwill, and now is the last chance to change that,” stated 27-year-old junior doctor Arjan Singh.
“Doctors have realized that they are working in a global market; they are not confined to this country,” he added.
Nurses, emergency service personnel, and other healthcare workers have all joined the strike.
