Don't Forget Your Wife, It Will Cost You Dearly: Vladimir Putin Advises a Conversation Partner

Russian President Vladimir Putin, participating in the plenary session of the forum on future technologies titled “Computations and Communications: The Quantum World,” stated that he is often asked how he makes decisions on certain issues.

“The answer is very simple. I think about it constantly, day and night. I sleep – I think about it, I wake up – I think about it. The solution to a problem is often found in the most unexpected ways,” Putin said, as reported by TASS.

His conversation partner, Ilya Semerikov, a researcher at the P.N. Lebedev Physical Institute of the Russian Academy of Sciences, remarked that this process consumes all of his time and attention. “Everything revolves around two things – quantum computers and people. These are the two things that are most interesting to me in life,” he confessed.

“Don’t forget your wife, it will cost you dearly,” Putin advised with a smile. “Your wife is also a hero,” he added.

Returning to a serious tone, the head of state noted to Semerikov, “You can only be envied, as well as sympathized with those who long for tomorrow to work. But you don’t want to leave your job.”

“Yes, this is happiness; this is happiness when a person lives with the work they have devoted their life to,” the Kremlin leader concluded.
