Minister: "2023 State Budget's Revenue Surpassed by About 50 Billion AMD in First Half of Year"
The revenue part of the 2023 state budget was exceeded by about 50 billion AMD in the first half of the year. This was announced by the Minister of Finance, Vahram Avanesyan, during a government meeting.
The Minister noted that 17 billion of the surplus revenue will be transferred to the reserve fund, from which allocations will be made.
He also shared how the funds transferred by previous decisions have been utilized. "I should note that earlier, with 10 decisions, our plan had already been increased by 7.5 billion AMD, most of which, over 6.5 billion AMD, was allocated to Artsakh," the minister stated.
Compared to the first half of 2022, the revenue collection in the first half of the current year increased by 19 percent or 176 billion AMD.
