Police Acquire New Skoda Vehicles

According to "Hraparak," the Police have purchased 65 new Skoda patrol cars for a total cost of 1 billion 117 million 800 thousand drams from "Czech Auto" LLC. The Skodas are intended for use by police patrols, with each vehicle priced at 18 million 120 thousand drams.

The contract with "Czech Auto" was signed on July 6, and the vehicles are expected to be delivered 20 days after the signing, but no later than September 20. Previously, the Police had bought 150 similar vehicles from the same company, and recently, 50 million drams were allocated for their refurbishment.

It is known that these vehicles have not justified their purpose under the conditions in Armenia, and part of the purchase was made instead of using Toyotas. However, it seems that the Police are not moving away from the underperforming Skodas either. It is worth mentioning that "Czech Auto," the official representative of the Czech Skoda company in Armenia, is owned by former head of the Civil Aviation Administration, Artyom Movsesyan.
