Identity of the Stabber in Sisian, Who Wounded 3 People Revealed by Investigative Committee
The identity of the individual who stabbed three people in Sisian on July 9 has been established. He is a 22-year-old man. This information was provided by the Investigative Committee of the Republic of Armenia.
“Based on the collected sufficient evidence, the investigator conducting the proceedings has submitted a motion to the supervising prosecutor for public criminal prosecution against the 22-year-old, which has been granted,” the statement said.
The young man has been charged under Article 44-155, Part 2, Clause 12 of the Criminal Code of the Republic of Armenia (attempted murder motivated by hooliganism) and Article 167, Part 2, Clauses 8 and 12 (causing moderate bodily harm).
It is recalled that on July 9, at 20:00, residents of Sisian aged 28, 30, and 71 were taken to the Sisian medical center with various degrees of stabbing and cutting injuries. It was revealed that during a conflict arising from a car accident, one of the participants, a 22-year-old man, attacked the 28 and 30-year-old brothers and a 71-year-old man who was intervening to separate the parties involved in the dispute.
