Video: 'I arrived at 5 a.m., I'm number 65' — Long lines at passport offices
During this time of year, when most citizens require visas, the lines at passport offices reach into the dozens. To alleviate the issue, almost all passport and visa departments in Yerevan have switched to an electronic appointment system. Residents of Arabkir, Kentron, Davtashen, and Kanaker-Zeitun have already been able to enter the offices by registering electronically in recent weeks.
The Nor Nork office transitioned to electronic registration just yesterday, on July 10, but dozens of citizens gathered at the entrance, who had reserved their spots in writing the night before, only learned about the change on site and were forced to make appointments after the 13th, unaware of the new system.
“It turned out that the nearest date is the 13th, and everyone is booked before that,” one of the citizens told NEWS.am.

It is also worth mentioning that earlier the Armenian Ministry of Internal Affairs announced that passport offices will also operate on Saturdays.
