VIDEO: Information Leaflets Destroyed, Hohikyan Provides Details
“They tried to seize the petition papers, but I didn't allow it, though they managed to destroy the informational leaflets, which are not considered official documents,” stated Nairi Hohikyan, an expert on interethnic issues and coordinator of the Martuni "Hayakve" initiative, providing details about today’s incident.
“In the morning, an incident occurred at the Martuni Culture Palace during the "Hayakve" petition collection. A group of people approached with a clear directive, demanding the removal of the petition collection, insisting that no one has the right to criticize their prime minister, and resorted to insults. I was forced to call the police. They tried to seize the petition papers, but I didn't allow it; however, they were able to destroy the informational leaflets, which are not official documents,” Hohikyan said.
He added that the petition collection continues in Martuni. More details in the video.
