Pashinyan Has Held a Phone Conversation with Blinken
Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan has held a phone conversation with U.S. Secretary of State Antony Blinken.
The two sides discussed the situation established in the region, the ongoing negotiations regarding a peace agreement between Armenia and Azerbaijan, and the necessary steps to ensure the rights and security of the Armenian population of Artsakh, including the need for dialogue between Baku and Stepanakert with international involvement.
Prime Minister Pashinyan addressed the exacerbation of the humanitarian crisis in Artsakh caused by Azerbaijan's illegal blockade of the Lachin Corridor and the necessary actions to overcome this situation.
The interlocutors emphasized the need for consistent efforts to ensure stability and peace in the region. Prime Minister Pashinyan reaffirmed the Armenian government's commitment to the peace agenda.
