Germany Refuses to Supply Ukraine with Cruise Missiles
The German Defense Minister Boris Pistorius has confirmed that the country will not supply Ukraine with German Taurus cruise missiles. "If this is done by separate partners, it is their sovereign decision. We do not intend to change our position," said Pistorius at the NATO summit in Vilnius.
In July, German Chancellor Olaf Scholz, responding to questions about the possible transfer of Taurus long-range cruise missiles to Ukraine, stated that the country does not want to transfer weapons that could be used to strike Russian territory.
