Azerbaijan Continues to Strengthen Its Military Power: Aliyev

Today, the armed forces of Azerbaijan have significantly greater military power, stated Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev, as reported by Azerbaijani media.

"Today, the armed forces of Azerbaijan have a greater military potential. We will enhance our capabilities in terms of combat readiness and the supply of weapons and equipment, as this process is ongoing and should not stop," Aliyev said during a meeting dedicated to the results of the country's socio-economic development in the first half of the year.

According to him, Azerbaijan will allocate as much funding as necessary for two directions: strengthening military capability and the "restoration of liberated lands."
