This is Tsaghkadzor: Most Streets Have Been Stripped of Asphalt for Months with No Replacement - Karen Harutyunyan

“This is Tsaghkadzor – the center of Armenian tourism.” Karen Harutyunyan shared photos on his Facebook page, adding:

“This is one of the central streets of Tsaghkadzor. Most of the streets are in this condition. From the Sevan highway to the city, the road's asphalt has been stripped. It has been months since any new asphalt was laid. But there was a reassuring sight: at the edge of the road, two workers were doing some work with shovels. They might finish by 2064, if they don’t pass away, of course.

More seriously, the world’s best experts on Russian affairs (not without Armenian meddling) are in Armenia for a two-week conference. They spent one week in Yerevan and will be one week in Tsaghkadzor before heading to Georgia. Many of them are visiting Armenia and the Caucasus for the first time. They will return to their cities, to their universities. They will be asked how Armenia and Georgia were. And what do you think they will say?

Overall, the road and inner streets of Tsaghkadzor are clear indicators of the quality of state and municipal management. Let’s continue to talk about the Armenian satellite and the Starmus Festival.”
