How 1 Ton of Heroin Was Transported to the NSS Building: 'Hraparak'
It has become known to the 'Hraparak' newspaper how 1 ton of heroin was transported to the NSS building through whom and by what means, belonging to former MP Mihran Poghosyan.
Specifically, 1 ton of heroin was transported to the NSS building by Samvel Galstyan, the storekeeper of the company 'Mrgeni', owned by Mihran Poghosyan, with the accompaniment of NSS employees in his own vehicle. It is strange that law enforcement has detained him after all this.
Since these detentions, the investigation body has maintained strict silence. Those detained continue to assert in the investigation body that they noticed a strange mass and informed the management but are not aware of anything else.
It is noteworthy that on May 17, the National Security Service (NSS) announced the case of 1 ton of cocaine imported into Armenia, worth approximately 250 million euros.
The NSS stated that during the pre-investigation of a criminal case initiated on May 13, 2023, it was revealed that 1 ton of narcotic substance (about 250 million euros worth) of cocaine was imported into the Republic of Armenia through transit countries: the Republic of Panama, the Republic of Italy, and Georgia by a company operating in Armenia that deals with fruit imports.
Let us recall that the NSS decided to initiate public criminal prosecution against Mihran Poghosyan, the actual owner of the 'Mrgeni' LLC, the company's director Levon Atajanyan, and storekeeper Samvel Galstyan for illegally selling and smuggling narcotic substances in especially large quantities, in accordance with the relevant articles of the RA Criminal Code.
