24-Hour Electricity Supply to Be Ensured Across Artsakh Until July 11 Morning

24-Hour Electricity Supply to Be Ensured Across Artsakh Until July 11 Morning

The government of Artsakh has decided to ensure a 24-hour electricity supply across the region until the morning of July 11, following a six-hour rotation blackout schedule. This information was reported by the Artsakh Information Headquarters.

The statement reads: "Dear compatriots,
Considering the restoration of gas supply from Armenia to Artsakh and the high demand for automotive refueling due to the severe fuel shortages, the government has decided to ensure a 24-hour electricity supply across Artsakh until the morning of July 11. This will allow for the round-the-clock operation of gas stations and refueling of as many vehicles as possible.

During this period, the supply of additional electricity will be organized through the increased utilization of the reservoir resources of the Sarsang dam to boost electricity production. After July 11, the electricity supply system will revert to the six-hour rotation blackout schedule, as Azerbaijan has continued to disrupt the electricity supply from Armenia to Artsakh since January 9.

We urge everyone to use electricity as sparingly as possible to avoid additional strain and outages on the network. We also ask gas station employees and vehicle drivers to adhere to all safety and traffic rules to prevent accidents and unnecessary queues."

It is worth noting that earlier reports indicated that the gas supply from Armenia to Artsakh had been restored.
