Video: Storm Ravages City of Omsk, Trees Downed by Wind

A storm is currently ravaging the city of Omsk in Russia. Due to the heavy rains, residents are wading through knee-deep water, while strong winds are toppling trees.

According to the Readovka Telegram channel, the torrential rain, mixed with hail, has caused a severe flood, with people walking through streets soaked up to their knees, and vehicles literally floating on the water. Some areas of the city have experienced flooding, including underground passages.

A storm warning has been issued for the region, with strong winds gusting up to 25 meters per second, resulting in several fallen trees. The Ministry of Emergency Situations is advising local residents to limit their movement in the city and to avoid parking vehicles in dangerous areas of the streets.
