19 Passengers Removed from Flight Due to Aircraft Being ‘Too Heavy for Takeoff’

A British EasyJet low-cost airline flight has removed 19 passengers from the plane. According to the Daily Mail, the aircraft was en route from Lanzarote to Great Britain.

It has been reported that passengers were removed because the aircraft was too heavy for takeoff. The pilot indicated that there were adverse weather conditions and that a similar number and weight of passengers could not be accommodated for flight.

“Safety is our number one priority. We cannot fly in these types of wind conditions,” the pilot stated. Additionally, the pilot announced that EasyJet is prepared to pay up to 500 euros to each passenger for leaving the aircraft.
