Upcoming Meeting Between My and Azerbaijani Presidents Expected: Nikol Pashinyan
Upcoming meeting between my and Azerbaijani presidents is expected with the mediation of the EU Council President. This was announced today, July 6, during a regular Government session by Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan.
“Unfortunately, the ‘Peace Treaty’ between Armenia and Azerbaijan is still not ready for signature. I hope to bring forth the positives recorded in Washington during the upcoming meeting. All issues must be resolved through diplomatic means,” emphasized the Prime Minister.
Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan stated that although there has been no significant progress in the Washington negotiations, there has been some specific advancement.
“The rights and security of the Artsakh Armenians must be addressed within the frameworks of international mechanisms of the Baku-Stepanakert dialogue, and a peace treaty should be signed between Armenia and Azerbaijan,” declared Pashinyan.
