Incident Involving Nazik Avdalyan Confirms Giloian, Moved to 'Reserve'

The Deputy Minister of Education, Science, Culture, and Sports, Karen Giloian, confirmed to Auroranews that an incident involving world champion Nazik Avdalyan took place in Moldova.

It is noteworthy that earlier we reported that during the European Championship for youth (ages 15-17) in weightlifting taking place in Chisinau, Moldova, referee Nazik Avdalyan did not stand up during the anthem of Turkey.

“We had included Avdalyan in the jury, but now she has been moved to 'reserve'. The incident is under discussion, and we are trying to understand what will happen with Nazik's future and the consequences of what occurred,” Giloian said.
