Soil Buries 39-Year-Old Employee at Arjut Ore Enrichment Plant; Body Discovered

On July 5, a tragic incident occurred in the Lori region, where the body of an employee was found in the area of the ore enrichment plant in the village of Arjut. This was reported by shamshyan.com.

According to the report, the emergency call was received around 02:40. “It was determined that at approximately 02:20, a 39-year-old resident of Lori, Harutyun E., was conducting soil work in a bunker at the aforementioned plant when the soil collapsed on him, which resulted in his death,” the website states.

A criminal case has been initiated by the Spitak investigative department under the charge of violating safety regulations or requirements during construction, mining, or other work. An autopsy has been ordered by the investigator.
