We Will Endure Tomorrow, Then We Must Erupt Like a Volcano: An Official from Artsakh

The President of Artsakh, Arayik Harutyunyan, has sent a letter to Russian President Vladimir Putin. This was reported on social media by Tigran Petrosyan, the head of Artsakh's anti-crisis council, without disclosing the content of the letter. “The government has addressed a letter to Putin, presenting the dire situation of the country and its people. I believe that if we do not see concrete actions from Russia tomorrow, silence will be tantamount to destruction... We will endure tomorrow, but then we must erupt like a volcano—for the sake of our children, for our dignity,” Petrosyan wrote.

He expressed the opinion that most of the people of Artsakh have believed not the words of the leader of Armenia or the leader of Artsakh, but rather those of Russian President Putin, who stated that Armenians in Artsakh will live in safety and dignity. “Today we are not living; we are merely surviving, while those who promised us security, dignity, and freedom of movement carry food for themselves by helicopter, leaving us in this condition,” he noted.
