UN Advisor on Prevention of Genocide Calls for Free Movement Through Lachin
On July 4th, during a speech at the Human Rights Council, Alice Wairimu Nderitu, the UN Secretary-General's Special Advisor on the Prevention of Genocide, addressed the situation between Armenia and Azerbaijan, urging dialogue and peace, as well as the importance of avoiding an escalation of tensions.
According to Armenpress, she reminded that the decision of the International Court of Justice is binding and called for ensuring safe and free movement through the Lachin corridor.
