Nikol Pashinyan's Speech Was Exhaustive: The Prime Minister's Office Responds to Oskanian's Statements
RA Prime Minister's Press Secretary Nazeli Baghdasaryan responded to former Foreign Minister Vardan Oskanian's statements regarding Nikol Pashinyan's remarks at the inquiry commission into the 44-day war, at the request of Haykakan Zhamanak.
"In fact, there has been no commentary since Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan's speech and Q&A session at the commission that requires any additional response. Overall, we can state in the context of all comments that the Prime Minister's speech was exhaustive and does not need any supplementation," said the press secretary.
It is noteworthy that Vardan Oskanian, in reference to Pashinyan's statements at the inquiry commission, said today: "Regardless of what Nikol Pashinyan says and how he interprets it, such a thing has not happened. Pashinyan is the first leader of the RA to say such a thing and is now trying to formalize it by signing the corresponding documents. Today, there is an alternative to everything Pashinyan is trying to do. The war, which is often presented to us as inevitable, was avoidable. The war was brought upon our people because of Pashinyan's mistakes, and I am confident of that.”
