Attackers on Milashina and Nemov Were Driving Without License Plates, Chechen Ombudsman Says
The attackers on journalist Elena Milashina and lawyer Alexander Nemov have yet to be identified. This was announced by Chechen Ombudsman Mansur Soltaev.
"At this moment, the attackers have not been revealed. As far as I know, they were driving a car without license plates," РИА Новости quotes Soltaev.
In Soltaev's opinion, the incident may be aimed at discrediting the authorities of Chechnya.
Earlier, the human rights commissioner of North Ossetia, Tamerlan Tsgoev, stated that Nemov and Milashina would be transported to Moscow.
