Ugocukwu Iwu has been named Armenia's Best Football Player

The midfielder of the Armenian national team and FC Urartu, Ugocukwu Iwu, has been named the Best Player of the Armenian Premier League for the 2022/2023 season. This was announced by the Football Federation of Armenia. As a result of the voting, the player gathered 63 points.

In second place, with 48 points, is Artyom Dashyan, the midfielder of the Armenian national team and FC Pyunik. Third place was claimed by FC Pyunik forward Yusuf Otubanjo, who also collected 26 points. However, Otubanjo passed his teammate Luka Juricic in the voting thanks to being mentioned more frequently in the top positions.

It is also worth noting that Dmitri Gunkov, head coach of FC Urartu, was recognized as the best coach of the Armenian Premier League for the 2022/2023 season.
