Post-Rebellion Attitude Toward Prigozhin in Russia Has Sharply Deteriorated: Survey
Nearly one third of Russians support the activities of Yevgeny Prigozhin, the leader of the Wagner Group, according to RTVI, noting that the attitude towards Prigozhin has sharply deteriorated since the rebellion. This is evidenced by the results of a survey conducted by Russian Field following the events of June 24.
Before the rebellion in mid-June, 55% of respondents supported Prigozhin's activities, but after the rebellion, that figure dropped to 29%. The approval of Prigozhin's actions is more prevalent among men aged 30 to 44, as well as among readers of Telegram channels. However, the predominance of positive responses over negative ones is observed only among men.
