Messi to earn $50-60 million annually from Inter Miami

Argentinian forward Lionel Messi will earn between $50-60 million annually from Inter Miami. This was announced on Sunday by the club's director, Jorge Mas.

“Messi can turn MLS into one of the two or three biggest leagues in the world. I believe he wants to leave his mark and can do so even outside of football. When he retires, he will have a stake in the club,” Mas's comments were quoted by Marca.

According to Sport-Express, the American club aims to maximize the impact of star player transfers. The player himself explained his move as a desire to “leave Europe, step out of the spotlight, and think more about his family.”
