Artsakh President Writes Letter to Putin: ‘Haykakan Zhamanak’

Artsakh President Arayik Harutyunyan has sent a letter to Russian President Vladimir Putin, urging a prompt response regarding what actions are planned for Artsakh. He inquired whether the peacekeepers' mission, which includes ensuring the free movement of Artsakh residents, will continue.

According to ‘Haykakan Zhamanak,’ if there are no plans to monitor the situation and reopen the road, then Artsakh should be clearly informed so that it can decide on its future steps.

The letter is reported to have been written in a correct, yet quite firm manner, indicating that patience in Artsakh is running thin. The letter was conveyed to the Russian President by Nikol Pashinyan, and it is presumed that the response will also be relayed through him.

Auroranews attempted to reach Artsakh President's press secretary Lusine Avanesyan for comments, but calls went unanswered.
