Artsakh's National Assembly Calls on Armenia to Immediately Halt Washington Negotiations
The National Assembly of Artsakh has issued a statement during today’s session, calling on the Armenian delegation in Washington to halt the negotiations.
“Immediate cessation of the ongoing negotiations is required until a complete ceasefire is established along the contact line with Artsakh and at the borders of Armenia, along with the provision of documented guarantees for maintaining it. Otherwise, the continuation of the negotiations would mean encouraging the aggressive behavior of the Azerbaijani side and granting privileges on an international level,” the statement reads.
It is noteworthy that a trilateral meeting began yesterday in Washington involving U.S. Secretary of State Antony Blinken, Armenia's Foreign Minister Ararat Mirzoyan, and Azerbaijan's Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov.
