VIDEO: Down Syndrome Man Arrested in Front of Mother in France
Unrest continues in France. In one of the widely circulated videos, perhaps the most shocking incident since the start of the protests this evening, a man with Down syndrome is detained by law enforcement in front of his mother.
It is the fourth day of protests in France. Demonstrators are blocking shops, storming grocery stores, burning office buildings and tires, fully expressing their discontent following the killing of a 17-year-old Black teenager.
Moreover, demonstrators have seized 5.56 mm rifles from the police. Protesters have attacked 31 police stations across the country and have set fire to 1,350 vehicles. Law enforcement officers have already arrested more than 1,000 people, and over 100 police officers have been injured.
