Women Allowed to Attend Men's Football Matches in Iran
Women have been allowed to attend men's football matches in Iran. The general ban has been in place since the Islamic Revolution of 1979, and women were only permitted to attend select matches (for example, a friendly game between Russia and Iran in March).
Additionally, authorities have announced that a sports radio channel dedicated to women's sports will be launched.
