Samson Grigoryan: "By the same logic, I propose to completely shave the Ministry of Economy"

“The Ministry of Economy prohibits the sale of watermelons and melons in cut form, arguing that they may be cut with dirty knives and that preservation rules may not be followed, imposing a fine of up to 100,000 drams for this offense,” wrote businessman Samson Grigoryan on his Facebook page.

“By the same logic, I propose to completely shave the Ministry of Economy, because one of the vendors may have lice on their head. Yes, it is rude, cynical, and ridiculous, but no different from the laws and justifications brought forth by our beloved ministry. Where are the numbers, the evidence, the research, the distinctions? Why haven’t the shops with refrigerators been separated, and why haven’t stalls with sinks and coverings been distinguished?”

“After all this, the goals are at least unclear to me. There is undoubtedly a problem, and there is a solution, but never at such an amateurish and ignorant level. I am posting images of European and American shops favored by the government.”
