Police Officer Involved in Lawyer Assault Recognized as Top Operational Officer: Lawyer

Police officer involved in the assault of lawyers has been recognized as the top operational officer. This was stated by lawyer Karen Alaverdyan during a discussion in the National Assembly.

“This is not just a matter that concerns me or my client. If it were, we wouldn't allow ourselves to be in the public spotlight. Especially during such a fateful period for our people. These criminal actions are directed against the institution of lawyers,” said Alaverdyan.

According to him, workers in law enforcement agencies often complain that many of their colleagues achieve career advancement on dubious grounds. “Those who do not oppose the use of violence are encouraged. Typically, they do not understand their rights and responsibilities,” Alaverdyan noted.
